Welcome to strollerville.
We now own three double strollers. We started off when Graham and Parker were just home from the NICU with the Combi Twin Savvy, but it did not work out for us because of the insufficient sun shades and the fact that Parker could escape the safety harness(seat belt).Once they were around 7 or 8 months.. it became a dangerous stroller for Graham and Parker, mostly Parker.
So, we put it in the back of the closet for a later date.......whenever that may be.
We went back to Babies R US and bought the Peg Perego Aria Twin 60/40. We love it, it has given us no issues. However since it is also a side by side double stroller, like the Combi Twin Savvy it is too wide to go in certain places. We had a lot of trouble with it at the Lukas Nursery Butterfly Encounter as well as the mall. We never really go to the mall though so it was not a big deal.
We had this really nice single stroller made by Joovy, but had no use for it because.. it only holds one baby. I felt like it was sitting around and collecting dust. So today I traded it with another mom for a Graco Quatro Duo Tandem stroller. I really dislike Tandem strollers, and I also dislike Graco brand strollers; but it is necessary for certain things. My goodness is that thing a beast too. It is REALLY heavy and does not fold down very small at all. The side by side Combi and Peg Perego fold down SMALL! It is nice to have for certain things. I will get good use out of it, but the Peg Perego is still my main stroller. It really does the job well!
