You really should sit

Parker does not like to sit in the high chair to eat most of the time. It gets really annoying. He can get out of the straps and stand up, no matter how well he is strapped in. He thinks it is really funny and proceeds to do this mini jump up and down thing after he gets out of the straps and stands.

We have the Fisher Price rain forest high chairs. Graham does great in the high chair, however he is the patient one. This kid has the patience of a saint. Seriously.

Parker, on the other hand is really not very patient. He is also more energetic in the sense of he will not sit during meals.

Graham sits there, finishes eating and then gives me "the look" when he is all done and ready to get down.

A few times I have put the food on the high chair and stood there with Parker as he takes a handful of food and shoves it in his mouth and then proceeds to pop up and down like a Mexican jumping bean in the high chair.

This kid has the energy of a marathon runner.
I also sometimes will just let him roam around the living room and grab some food when he wants. He seems to forget that it is there though.. so I have to chase him down with the food and then try to hand feed him like he is a little birdie.

We keep the high chairs in our living room because it is more comfortable for us to sit there with them while they eat. It was way more comfortable when we had to feed them jar food.

We have no distractions during meals, no music, no TV. nothing.

I don't know how to get him to just chill out to eat. He is almost too active. He is the comedian of the two as well.

Graham is very active too, he is just really patient and he enjoys being in the high chair and eating his meals at a normal pace.

garage sale blues

I am not sure why I even bother trying to buy clothes at garage sales for Graham and Parker. No one ever has matching outfits... I would love to go to a garage sale with matching outfits. I do buy some matching outfits on ebay but it is pricey. Sometimes it is as pricey to buy new as it is to buy used.

I went to some big sale today adn was not impressed. They had hardly any boys clothes and everything they did have was WAY overpriced for being used.. and faded!

I wonder what people are thinking when they sell used items for so much.

Well, it's time for crib tents

We have some climbing issues that are getitng to be pretty scary. Today we had to drop 160 dollars on crib tents. ugh! I called all over town and visited a multitude of websites. They are pricey and somewhat hard to find. However we have some serious risk takers/climbers.... so there was no choice.

oh boy.. and boy.

We bought them from One Step Ahead. I do shop there a LOT but I did not like their price on this item

Did you know that their twin discount is less than the monthly discounts they offer that you can find on OH and you can not put that discount together with the monthly discount.

I would love to find some company that sells everything we need..twin wise.. and offer great discounts..according to how many you buy. We buy a LOT of stuff and it is alwyas TWO of each item. Clothes, baby gear, sometimes toys, a lot of things.

I hate that baby food and formula companies do not offer a whole lot of a discount for their baby foods and formula. We bought our weight and more in earths best and similac. Now we have them on go to grow.. also similac and they do not offer samples or discounts of that ANYWHERE!!!

CHA CHING $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

No, we do not use WIC.. so imagine how much we spent for 14 months of Alimentum and Isomil..not to mention the baby juice, earths best baby food, and the milion containers of baby snacks.

Can we say discount! *This is me...dreaming of more coupons and better discounts*

*Note the child in the photo looks like she is saying.. HAHA you can't keep me in here*

WISH US LUCK! They will arrive by mail on Friday..

Walking and not walking.

So, Parker has started walking all the time now. He is doing so well and each day he walks more and more. Graham likes to stand without holding on to anything and cruise the furniture but he seems too cautious to start walking.

a few random pics...

They are 15 months old today!

IN honor of Graham and Parker turning 15 months old today, I will show some pics of when they were teeny tiny! Plus a video from 2 days ago!

This is the first time that Graham and Parker ever got to be next to one another since they were born. Just a few days old.
